Yo people! Just been thinking about my up-coming shows next your and reminising on some of the foods I ate to keep me satiated and sane during stricter dieting periods. A few of my favourites were:
– 0% fat greek yoghurt with frozen mixed berries mixed together to create a type of icecream. (with a low cal sauce on top too)
– Low cal jelly to hit that sweet tooth and fill me up a little
– A hefty portion of mixed leaf salad with most meals (not huge fan of salad but LOVED it on prep)
– Zero cal Monster to keep me alive and satisfy my crack addiction.
What are some of your favourites that you’ve used/created for yourself? let us hear themmm.
Sugar free chewing gum is a must for me to stop my cravings and plus helps jawline.
Never tried gum, always thought the chewing action would make me want to eat more hahah, will have to try. Need more jawline.
Sparkling flavoured water really helps, as I find the fizziness keeps you feeling fuller
Yess, rate that. I usually go for a walk just to got to the shops to buy a big bottle of flavoured Volvic sugar free water. Steps, Hydration, sweet tooth satisfaction all in one.
Zero calorie sweet drinks are my go to! Get that sweet kick and everybody loves a fizzy beverage but no calories! And not so much a hack but I tend to just loosely intermittent fast, if I’m not hungry till 5pm I’ll fast till then but if I wake up ravenous I’ll have a breakfast!
Intermittent fasting is a great tool. But yeah it’s definitely important to listen to the body as well. Some people end up with such bad eating habits as a result of fasting.
Definitely easy to fall into the trap of being fixated by the fasting time and not just the concept! I find that I don’t even call it intermittent fasting it’s more like intuitive eating but with calorie control.
Strawberry or blueberry jelly is a game changer for me when it comes to dieting. Just pour a tiny portion of it (20/50 kcals) in water and puf: you get a huge bowl of watery fruity jelly which will help the cravings a ton
Dried fruit such as mango, apricots and prune help me with sugar cravings
Black coffee helped me a lot last time I was dieting! The warmth from the coffee plus the caffeine kick put off any hunger for a few hours!
