Lockdown Training

What’s up fam. Just curious as to how you lot have been coping with training during lockdown. We’ve got some decent equipment that we’re fortunate to have, but it definitely doesn’t compare to a gym environment.

How’s things for you? any of you not trained at all??

Im also fortunate to have some dumbbells and a bench but only up to 18kg. Managed to pick up some bands aswell to add in some extra tension and movements. Not gonna lie its pretty shit but will do for now.

Gassed for gyms to open soon though.

Picked up some body weight kit (pull up bar/dip station) and dug out my TRX and have been doing whatever I can. Definitely doesn’t scratch the gym but it’s keeping me from doing nothing!

In Switzerland, gyms are still opened fortunately. However, haven’t been able to train upper body over the last 4 months because of a biceps tendon injury that I am getting checked soon.

Is there no “resistance” gyms which low key stay opened for a few people/friends?

Was a few gyms that said fuck it and stayed open but most of them have been forced to close now and the others that are still open aren’t very public about it at all so hard to find one unless you’re in the know

Kitesurfing this summer, sent it a bit too hard haha. Yes exactly, right where it attaches to the shoulder. I will, thanks dude! Did you need any surgery at all?

Luckily gyms in the Netherlands are still open. But you are only allowed to train for max. 1 hour. But not complaining at all, during the last lockdown my gym equipment was a residence band and a crate of water bottles

Here in Slovakia got gyms opened a few days ago, but under strict rules. There is maximum of 6 people who can be in the gym at the same time. After all we have been through sounds this like a heaven.I wish you all good luck a don’t forget to do something not nothing.

I bought a set of resistance bands which were very inexpensive and did a half decent job . I used this time to Improve my muscular endurance and I can do alot more pull ups then I could a month a go but I feel like I’ve lost a bit of strength but should be easy enough to get it back when gyms open
