If I had penny every time I’m asked what books I’d recommend, I’d be 37p richer.
All seriousness, books have changed my life. I’m convinced it’s the way of getting ahead.
I tend to gravitate towards philosophy and psychology –
Here’s a few recommendations:
The Six Pillars Of Self-Esteem – Sentences in this book are strung in such a way that can lead to epiphanies.
The Laws Of Human Nature – It’s the biggest book I’ve ever read at 600+ pages, but absolutely worth it and teaches you a lot about personality types.
Meditations by Marcus Aurelius – Absolute essential bedside book.
Atomic Habits – Full of so much value. Our habits decide are life, so why would you not learn about them?
Principles by Ray Dalio – Imagine a book in which a billionaire investor gives away all of his life’s lessons. Not just in life but in business too, you can learn so much by just this book alone.
The Way of the Superior Man – Great for guys who are unsure of how to be a man of action and purpose.
Just ordered Principles: Life and Work by Ray Dalio, gunna be the first book I’ve read all year but got to start somewhere!
7 Habits of Highly Effective People is also a gold read! Will check these out bro
This one’s on the list next for me!
Banging read
Atomic Habits and Principles both coming in the mail today!
Meditations/The Daily Stoic have both been key books for me this year!
Waking up Sam Harris, The Go Giver and the power of discipline have been my recent favourites
12 rules for life by Jordan Peterson is an absolute must read in my opinion. He combines personal experiences, applicable notions and spiritual concepts to explain what he sees as the 12 rules we should live by in order to grow and be fulfilled.
7 Habits of Highly Effective People
So Good They Can’t Ignore You
The Motivation Manifesto
The Power of Now
How to Win Friends and Influence People
ABSOLUTE BANGERS !
Not A Life Coach – James Smith. This book made me have some serious perspective changes.
Listened to the first book on audible, may pick up the new one as a physical copy as I’ve heard nothing but positive reviews about it.
